A method for ventilated cavitation based on preconditioning
while the ventilation is considered, a numerical method, based on preconditioning, including a flux difference scheme similar to Roe scheme, a modified k-ω turbulent model, and a dual-time implicit LU-SGS method, is developed to simulate both two-dimension and three-dimension configurations.As for NACA0012 hydrofoil, all-wet and natural cavitation flows are computed and the results are in agreement with experimental data.As for three-dimension hemispherical body, the multi-block parallel program is developed.Both all-wet and natural cavitation are first computed and the cavitation flow results with cavitation number of 0.3 and 0.4 accord to experimental data, which proves that the set of method for two and three dimensional configurations is reliable.Meanwhile, the ventilated cavitation flow is also computed.The draft coefficient decreases with the increase of ventilated volume.
