Numerical simulation of flows with moving contact line on complex substrates
In this paper, we propose an approach combining with a three component diffuse interface model, immersed boundary method and a characteristic MCL model to simulate the flows with MCL on the complex substrates on a Cartesian mesh.To investigate the performance of the approach, several numerical simulations is tested such as the drop spreading on a sphere, water entry of a sphere, drop impacting on a sphere and penetration of a drop into a porous media.
