The numerical simulation of separated flow past multi-cylinders using RVM
In this paper, a numerical scheme for uniform flow past multi-bodies based on the Random Vortex Method (RVM) is proposed.The Complex Variable Boundary Element Method (CVBEM) is adopted for the potential part of the flow.Additional unknown constants are needed when the number of bodies is larger than one.The hydrodynamic coefficients and flow structures of the wake for uniform flow past a circular cylinder and two cylinders arranged side by side is given to validate the proposed scheme.The numerical results show good agreement with experiment data from other papers.
