Numerical investigation of wake equalizing duct by using double-model theory

  In the paper, the wake equalizing duct (WED) is investigated by CFD-based method coupled with double-model theory.All the computations are carried out by our in-house CFD solver naoe-FOAM-SJTU, which is developed on the open source platform OpenFOAM and mainly composed of a dynamic overset grid module and a full 6DoF motion module.Finally,simulation results, wake field and vortex at stem are provided and energy saving effect of WED is investigated.
