Assessing numerical methods for simulating wave-structure interactions
Three different numerical methods have been considered in the paper for accessing their performance on wave interaction with a vertical circular cylinder.These three methods represent the most typical methods that have been used currently for simulating wave-structure interactions.By comparing with experimental measurements for the same test cases,the accuracy of all three numerical methods are assessed and discussed in the paper.Also the computational cost and the efficiency of each method are discussed and compared in the paper.
