Stabilization mechanism of basin water circulation --A message from lop nur
Historical records of the Lop Nur reveal a strong stabilization mechanism for water circulation in the Tarim Basin. There exists a System Equilibrium Evapotranspiration Rate (SEER), which corresponds to the humidity distribution on top of the basin at equilibrium with the surrounding atmosphere. The System Evapotranspiration Rate (SER) is automatically drawn to SEER by an opposite water supply response. With this understanding, water in the Tarim Basin can be utilized efficiently, and the Lop Nur can be restored.Basin water stabilization is also compared with non-basin water circulations.
