Research on the simulation of the current force on the square metal netting
In this paper, the simulation of the forces on square woven mental netting is studied under steady current.The FEM(Finite Element Method) and LES(Large Eddy Simulation) are used in simulating the netting structure and fluid field respectively.Based on the Gauss-Sedial coupling model in Abaqus, verified by the comparison between the simulation and experimental results, the current forces under different velocity, material (zinc-aluminum alloy, copper-zinc alloy), mesh size and net thread diameter are calculated and analyzed which will afford a reliable foundation for the following research on the metal net cage.
