The Research Status of Information Resource Management from the Perspective of Metrics in China
Information resource is one of the important strategic resources for the development of national economy and society.Nowadays, more and more Chinese researchers focus on how to manage information resource effectively.It is important and significant for one researcher to understand the research status and promote the development of information resource management.In this study,Chinese Citation Database (CCD) is selected as retrieval source.The research status is discovered via analyzing high-quality academic literatures related to information resource management.The research results are as followed: at present, the researches of information resource management have formed a comparatively complete theory system in China.Those researches are mainly from a few disciplines, however, they are related to all aspects, which include social production and life.Wuhan University and other 12 universities or research centers are the knowledge sources of information resource management, and form the core researchers that based on professors or associate professors.The researches of information resource management in China are mainly distributed in library, business, government, archive and talent.In addition, around the 5 major research areas, researchers also focus on management purpose and application method or technology.
