Analysis of Dynamic Topology of the Scientific Collaboration Network in Lithium Ion Battery
Study of topological structure is important to scientific collaboration network, while, most studies are static, lacking dynamic analysis.This paper analyze dynamic topology of scientific collaboration network through two aspects.One is ego-network, focusing on centrality of nodes.Another one is whole-network, focusing on degree distribution and clustering coefficient.To find out the evolution of topological structure of collaboration network, we use life cycle theory.So the discipline domain which we analyze will be divided into several development stages with time.As experimental dataset, we collect literatures from Web of Science under the topic of lithium ion battery.The experiment results show that with the development of lithium ion battery, centralities of node,such as degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality have different evolutions.For whole-network, degree distribution changes from random distribution to power-low distribution and clustering coefficient decreases with time.The results and methodologies developed in the context of the co-authorship network could be useful for a systematic study of other complex evolving net works as well, such as the world wide web, Internet, or other social networks.
