Mobility Modelling and Real-time Analysis of Crowded and Process-constrained Environments such as Cities,Airports, Hospitals and Mass Gatherings
Crowd and mobility models are typically rooted in either of these two special cases: (i) average-day models, e.g.using spatial population and employment data to model how individuals spread out across a transport network to utilise available capacity during their travel-to-work journeys;or (ii) mass exodus resulting in extreme crowding and congestion in a disaster scenario.
