A Structure Analysis Method for Complex Social Pedestrian Groups with Symbol Expression and Relationship Matrix
Complex and simple social groups exist commonly in pedestrian crowds and exert tremendous impacts on other individuals.The study of structure and formation of groups is the fundamental of group dynamics.The paper concentrates upon the relationship of group members and logical structure diversity of complex groups as well as methods for analysing the relationship and structure with massive low-precision data.A symbol description method and a relationship matrix model are proposed.With the method and massive low-precision data observed on campus, the structure complexity of the group and distribution of group members in the matrix are analysed empirically.The application of the method and structure data for further simulation study for social groups is also discussed.
