Research on Evaluation Method of Passenger Carrying Capacity of Urban Rail Transit Station Based on Passenger Simulation
In the design stage of urban rail transit stations, static design method which relies on the standards is the most commonly used method in calculating carrying capacity of stations.However, due to some dynamic factors like the influences of the psychological behaviors of passengers, static design methods have been unable to meet the requirements of making the stations passenger capacity assessment scientific and accurate.This paper intends to use the passenger simulation method to evaluate the capacity of urban rail transit stations and then establishes an evaluation system of Level of Service of the ticking-checking facilities.It is found that the carrying capacity of the ticking-checking facilities is not proportional to the amount of the facilities.
