A Model of Pre-evacuation Time: A Case Study of A bar Fire

　　Many casualties and studies show that pre-evacuation time has strong effect on total evacuation time.But to date, pre-evacuation process is generally less quantified than evacuation process.This paper presents a case study of a data-based model, based on Censored Regression approach, using the pre-evacuation data set obtained from the surveillance cameras of a bar fire in Fujian, China.In this study the pre-evacuation time,which is divided into awareness time (Ta) and investigating time (Ti), is analysed considering the main factors affecting the pre-evacuation process in entertainment places, such as occupants position and personal characteristics.
