Effect of Equal Channel Angular Extrusion on the Microstructure of Mg-3Zn-0.5Zr-5HA Nanocomposite
In the present work, the effect of equal channel angular extrusion (referred as ECAE) on the microstructure of Mg-3Zn-0.5Zr-5HA nanocomposite was investigated.Results showed that ECAE processing on the as cast Mg-3Zn-0.5Zr-5HA nanocomposite resulted in great grain refinement of Mg, and more importantly a significant breakdown of HA nanoparticle aggregates.
