A Study on the Performance of Dyeing Cotton Fabric With Natural Plant Dye of Theaflavin
As one of the most important natural textile fibre, dyeing cotton fiber with theaflavin not only can increase the additional value, but also can realize the nature of fabric, in line with the new age peoples pursuit of fashion,which is a good approach to develop ‘eco-fashion’.However, its color fastness is poor, dye uptake rat is low ,too.Therefore the dyeing property of dying cotton fabric by uesing theaflavin was researched, then the dying results of natural peach rubber with theaflavin, and the optimum technological factors were determined.Exploring research into the fixing properties of peach rubber in different concentrationand and washing colorfastness performance of cotton fabrics dyed by theaflavin and change in friction performance of theaflavin.Results show that o.w.f.8%,pH 7 and dyeing temperature at 90℃ are optimum dyeing factors of cotton fabrics with theaflavin;Peach gum with different concentration on cotton fabric are also different in colors uptaking, with the concentration increasing ,color fixing would be better.
