Discussion of the Teaching Methods for Engineering Cognition Based on General Education
Serving as a basic link in engineering practice education, engineering cognition (EC) plays an important role in expanding engineering knowledge for students, and lays a solid foundation for the subsequent theoretical and practical courses.It requires scientific teaching methods and systematic platforms for open thinking, which is currently under active research and practice by many domestic universities.Therefore, based on the guide of General Education (GE) theory, this paper mainly focuses on the training goal of macro-projects and macro-systems for students.Strategies and methods of Engineering Cognition education based on General Education are explored, including the teaching content, writing of textbooks, teaching modes, organization and management.Finally, taking the Museum of Engineering Cognition in Hefei University of Technology as an example, teaching practice and platform construction of Engineering Cognition are discussed.
