Design of Virtual CNC Milling Simulation for Teaching the Modern Manufacturing
Virtual CNC machining simulation technology is an important and indispensable content in the modern manufacturing technology.We can find and eliminate these errors in the program, avoid cut the workpiece in the manufacturing process, or break the tools or machines by using the simulation design processing;at the same time in the teaching, simulation processing can promote students to understand the principle and method of processing.This paper taking the development of mouse outer shell parts as an example, research on construction and simulation process of CNC machine tool simulation model in UG/ISV (Integrated Simulation and Verification) is conducted.Then, research on numerical model, assembly, motion simulation and manufacture simulation of CNC machine tool simulation model are carried out.The research indicates that the construction of CNC machine tool simulation model and comprehensive simulation on it can be effectively completed by adopting the function modules of UG and total optimization of designed machine tool can be achieved.It can also improve the design efficiency of product.
