Exploration of the Correlation Between Mechanical Manufacturing Fundamental Courses and Professional Training in Mechanical Major

　　A key issue regarding to the college education is what should be learned and what kind of talent students should be.To understand the role of mechanical manufacturing fundamental courses on the mechanical professional training, it is necessary to firstly understand the correlation between mechanical manufacturing fundamental courses and mechanical professional training.This study analyzed the classification of engineering talents, and the knowledge and capability which the engineering talents should master in China based on the objectives of engineering talents cultivation in typical international engineering colleges.It was concluded that the major of engineering talent training was to promote them to possess the capability of obtaining and applying knowledge, innovation, expression and communication, cooperation, engineering practice and business acumen.Finally, combining with the characteristics of mechanical manufacturing courses, the correlation between the mechanical courses and mechanical professional training was discussed.
