Teaching Arrangement and the Equipment Used on a Practical Course Named Controlling Technical Training
After evaluation of teaching level on undergraduate and the construction of the National Level Experiment Education Model Center, we are thinking deeply about the problems of what the connotation of engineering training is, and how we should achieve the goals.It has been generally known that revolution about the content, the mode, and the method in engineering training is an urgent need and the educational characteristics that should be highlighted which contains comprehensiveness, openness, and personalization.This paper introduced the construction process of control technology experimental platform and curriculum including the development of CTS1600-Ⅰ General Control Technology Training System, laboratory building, textbooks and reference material compiling.The construction of curriculum focused on the concept of project, seeking to unify training process with project realization.The teaching content was reasonably organized and teaching scale met the requirements of high volume and wide scope in engineering training.The curriculum not only ensured the guidance of syllabus for operation of curriculum organization and the integrity and rationality of teaching content as well, but also left the door open for students to propose, design and complete their own research.Meanwhile the experimental platform with multi-function could be used for other students majored in computer science and Electronic Engineering.Curriculum construction and operation process would be a successful paradigm on comprehensive engineering training connotative construction.
