Effective Measures to Build Up a High-quality Staff Team for Engineering Training Center in Chongqing University
The goal of engineering training has been evolving from teaching technical knowledge, enhancing engineering ability and improving comprehensive quality to cultivating innovative spirit and ability.Combined with the new development goals, the Engineering Training Center of Chongqing University (ETCCU) should design new and more advanced strategies in talent cultivation.In the view of new engineering training objectives, the plan of talents cultivation, and the current situation of ETCCU, this paper propose various effective promotion measures for ETCCU to build up a high-quality staff teams.It is advisable for ETCCU to pay more attention to the academic degree level, knowledge structure, and the age structure of academic staff teams.Academic staff should be trained through the combined modes of long-term in-service training and short-term training.Importantly, ETCCU should serve for the purpose of personnel training to strengthen the engineering training practical abilities of students in the university, to cultivate their innovative spirits and innovative abilities, and to improve their comprehensive qualities.Finally, ETCCU should explore new ways that are related not only to teaching but also to scientific research.
