The Maker Movement and Engineering Training Reform

　　The maker movement has become an important development direction of innovative society, and such is the spirit of the maker movement as sticking to innovation, continuing to practice, and willing to share.Engineering training teaching reform needs to take the maker movement spirit as value target of the curriculum.In the ability level, engineering training needs to cultivate students critical and creative thinking, practical ability, leadership skill and communication skill.As far as the knowledge level, engineering training needs to develop design knowledge and process knowledge.Considering the current status of engineering training teaching, curriculum reform need to add the design knowledge, to change existing teaching method, and to choose teaching mode in favor of cultivating students criticism and creative thinking, leadership skill and communication skill.On the teaching platform construction, open source code platform, web 2.0 platform and free software etc.should be built in order to support the collaborative innovation.
