Introducing Maker Culture in Engineering Training Center at Chongqing University

　　Due to the uniqueness of maker culture, for the purpose of cultivating innovative talents in universities of China, this article discusses the practices in the period of construction of Chongqing University industrial experience hall on the basis of Chongqing University engineering training center.As university engineering training center possesses certain human and financial resources etc., we will discuss how to introduce the maker culture, full exploit the potential of integrated resources to expand students vision, transform passive learning to active learning, strengthen the student startup ability, innovation ability, the cultivation of the ability of communication and cooperation, promote the students comprehensive coordination ability, and improve students ability of entrepreneurship.We transform the Chongqing University engineering training center into the Chongqing University industry experience hall, and further promote Chongqing University maker space.For the purpose of serving the makers, not only the university students can participate in the creative design and DIY, but also the public outside can also use this maker space, which make Chongqing University engineering training center play a bigger role in innovation education.
