The construction of engineering training center for giving full play to its role in talent cultivation in the twenty first century has become an important issue in higher education.Modern engineering training center is a practical teaching base whose purpose is to cultivate students innovation consciousness and practical ability, as well as spirit of cooperation.A teaching system in which basic training of engineering technology is the basis, training of modem engineering technology is the core, and innovation training is the key should be established.The modern engineering training center must carry out actively education policy of performance, put into effect in the round education of performance, need to strengthen the training of innovation education.We shall stress the idea that the main body of students and the leading role of teachers and that we shall pay attention to the students initiative of driving studying and driving thinking and we shall pay attention to individual character development of the students.We should update concept, pay attention to innovation education, transform traditional teaching mode and create a new mode of cultivating innovative talents.We also need to expand training object and content, and strengthen training function, improve training method, as well as establish a quality teaching team with innovation spirit.
