Investigation and Teaching Practice on the Evaluation of Engineering Training Teaching Effectiveness

  The aim is focused on developing a scientific and rational evaluation method and an approach of teaching effectiveness for engineering training courses in this paper.A scientific standard and a program of practical operation are provided for the evaluation of the course teaching effectiveness, in accordance with such principle as the separation between teaching and examination, mainly in the formative assessment, supplemented by summative assessment.Through total employees evaluation mode, it is realized that scientific and suitable assessment of teaching and learning has an effect for students and teachers.Therefore, this evaluation has helped to promote the positive in the two aspects of teaching and learning, and to promote the mode of students centered teaching, to advance the application of problem-based and project-based learning method, as well as CDIO-based learning method in the engineering training courses, and thus to improve the quality of teaching.Through evaluation of the actual teaching effectiveness for the experimental classes, the existing problems and the methods to solve the problems are explored in the evaluation system, the engineering training course content and teaching effect evaluation system are improved.
