Innovation Discussion on Assessment Method for Course of Engineering Materials and Fundamental of Mechanical Manufacture

　　Assessment is an important step in course teaching.In this paper, basing on the educating pole of the course of Engineering Materials and Fundamental of Mechanical Manufacture, and its contents, the authors analyze the traditional assessment methods and learning characteristics of contemporary university students, and discuss how to evaluate leaning results to achieve the education task, and further analyze the better examining method to play a more progressive role in improving teaching quality and cultivating students with good quality and innovation ability.In the meantime, the authors introduce the practice and experience in the reform of assessment methods.
