The Design and Application of the Experimental and Practical Teaching Management Information System Based on Campus Card Identity Recognition
Teaching systems in the experimental teaching practice at engineering colleges are becoming increasingly complicated, due to several complex factors such as course categories (including practical curriculum, theory curriculum, theory experiment programs, extracurricular science and technology activities), organization forms (including large classes, small classes, grouping teaching and individual guidance) and staff composition (including classes from professors to workers).In this paper, a new management system is introduced to meet requirements of teaching reform.It could seamlessly interact with the educational management system and achieve informationization for teaching management which includes course scheduling, teaching process monitoring, grade gathering, paper sorting and laboratory reservation management.Moreover, by providing varies services of experiment managements for both teaching groups and individual teachers, the new system could fill the blank of teacher-oriented software for teaching management, improving the working efficiency of teachers, providing an approach for contribution evaluation, and enhancing students engagement and satisfaction.The main functions of the system can be categorized as following: basic information maintenance, teachers and students information maintenance, course scheduling, change tracking, performance monitoring, attendance supervising, laboratory reservation, archives management and report forms query.In the experimental and practice teaching, practical teaching management system has some innovation properties, which fills the gaps on educational administration system, makes experimental and practice teaching to be more effective and finer, and thus has vast promotional value.
