Study on econometric model of the relationship between Beijing vegetable wholesale and retail price
The wholesale and retail markets are two of the upstream and downstream markets of the terminal of the transmission chain of agricultural prices, so the wholesale prices and retail prices of vegetables are closely related.In order to investigate the relationship between the price of wholesale vegetable market and retail vegetable market in Beijing, this paper selects the retail price data every 5 days and wholesale price of daily data of the cucumber, tomato and eggplant, using linear regression model on the relationship between wholesale and retail prices.As a result, among three kinds of vegetables retail price and wholesale data existing high correlation, with retail price as the explained variable and the wholesale price and the seasonal dummy variables as explanatory variables of the linear regression equations were statistically significant.
