Assessing Recreation Value of Scenic Spot Tourism Resource Based on ITCM and ZCVM: a Case of Hongye Valley in Jinan
Based on the data collected by questionnaires in 2014, the recreation value of Hongye Valley scenic spot in Jinan City was assessed using zonal travel cost method (ZTCM) and individual travel cost method (ITCM).As the tourists coming from Jinan visited repeatedly Hongye Valley scenic spot, ITCM was proper to evaluate the recreational value of these visitors.However, ZTCM was appropriate to evaluate recreational value of the other tourists, because these visitors come from the other areas evenly.It was showed that the recreational value of Hongye Valley scenic spot in 2014 was 36 million, in which the recreational value of the visitors coming from Jinan was 17 million and that of the other tourists was 19 million.The recreational value could be improved by enhancing management and service in traffic, tourist projects and restaurants.
