Analysis of Global Organic Vegetable Research Based on literature metrology
Using the method of literature metrology based on the Web of Science database, this paper analyzed global literatures about organic vegetables published from 2002 to 2015, from the aspects of the annual volume of papers, literature type and countries, authors, journals, subject categories etc with top 10 of publications.The results show that there are a total of 1,613 publications all over the word from 2002 to 2015 and annual publication number reached the highest in 2013.Academic papers are the main literature types.The four countries with the most number of publications are United States, China,Brazil and Spain and each one has published more than 100.The most influential academic author is Hernandez F.from Jaume I University in Spain.The major journals with the article quantity more than 20 that America has 2, Brazil has land UK has 1.The key subject areas are agriculture.
