Kernel Density Estimation for Random Censored Data under Ranking Set Sampling
In order to estimate the probability density function of an unknown survival distribution,the kernel density estimator based on a ranked set sample with random censored data is proposed.It is shown that the proposed estimator has asymptotic normality.A simulation study is conducted to compare the efficiency of the proposed estimator with the corresponding estimator based on simple random sampling, and it is shown that the ranked set sampling has higher efficiency.
