A Study on the Construction of Business English Major Based on Knowledge Management
Originated from the processes of enterprise management, knowledge management can also be applied to the managerial work in higher education and it is conducive to the construction of Business English Major because it can solve the existing problems such as backward ideas in education, obsolete teaching management model, lack of incentive mechanism, knowledge sharing problem and slow circulation of knowledge that the major faces presently. Having decided the goal—cultivating innovative talents to meet the needs of the society, the methods—establishing knowledge base, talent pool and integrated processing platform, and technology— knowledge management system (KMS) and system platform, this paper puts forward the strategies for applying knowledge management to the management of Business English Major, including network construction of knowledge sharing, establishment of learning team, construction of incentive mechanism, cultivation of knowledge sharing culture and cultivation of innovative talents.
