Urgency and Countermeasures of Srengthening Industrial Foundation in China

　　Weak foundation is the short board and the biggest bottleneck for China to become a manufacture and industry powder.Therefore,we need to strengthen national planning,make efforts to increase policy supports,and accelerate to strengthen industrial foundation.Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE),in conjunction with Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)and Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ),launched Strategic Research to Develop Industrial Foundation in China on March 28th 2014,studying systemically on the industrial foundation in China to provide meaningful suggestions on the national planning and government policy.This paper focuses on the connotation and composition of a solid industrial foundation and the urgency to strengthen industrial foundation in China.In addition,it analyzes the experiences of industrial foundation development in South Jiangsu and Ningbo,and puts forward the countermeasures to strengthen industrial foundation in China.
