Research and application of 3D seismic exploration in the complex district in Pingdingshan

  The surface c1ondition and deep structure of the exploration area of a coal mine in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, are very complex, and the depth of the coal seam is deep.In order to find out the structural features and the occurrence of the main coal seam, the 3D seismic exploration in this area is carried out. Aiming at the fact that the seismic line is more difficult to arrange because of the larger surface obstacle in the exploration area, we adopt the bunching observation system with 10 lines 8 shots field setup and 24 folds, and overcome the difficulty of drilling borehole in the gravel layer, have determined the optimum shooting parameters of hole depth 8m, dynamite dosage 2kg and median shooting mode. To ensure the quality of data collection and avoid the impact of large scale obstacles such as village in coverage area, the change of receiving arrangement is used near the village, besides increasing shooting numbers appropriately to ensure the stability and continuity of fold. Through the careful field data acquisition, data processing and interpretation, have obtained reliable seismic geological results, and some of the fault has been verified by the underground tunnel data. The 3D seismic exploration has provided important technical support to the coal mine for the mine roadway design, mining safety production, and is worthy to popularize and apply in this area.
