New Progress of Cast Iron in China

摘要：

1.BackgroundIn China,there are nearly two thousands of foundry enterprises.The production scale of iron castings is large.The iron castings output amounted to 33.8 million tons (including 20.8 million tons of gray iron,12.4 million tons of ductile iron,600000 tons of malleable iron) in 2014,which is about 73.2％ of the total castings (which is shown in Table 1).The iron castings are widely used in the industry such as automobile,internal combustion engine,engineering machinery,mining machinery,pipe,machine tool,rail transportation and so on.
