Tolerance Analysis of Array Amplitude-phase Errors on Depth of Nulling of Adaptive Difference Beams

  Adaptive beam forming generate null steering at direction of interference to achievespatial filtering,but in practical application amplitude and phase errors among array channels is an unavoidable question,also amplitude and phase errors can have a strong impact on depth of null steering of adaptive beam forming,to solve this problem,this paper presented using adaptive difference beamforming has the characteristic of generate null steering at defined direction to filtering.It has been simulated by computer to compare the depth of null steering of traditional adaptive beam forming and adaptive difference beamforming under the same amplitude and phase errors,the results show that the null steering level,which been generated by adaptive difference beamforming,is subject to smaller error,and the impact on depth of null steering of amplitude error is stronger than phase error,analyze of amplitude error limited of adaptive difference beam generating null steering is also presented.
