A product code in steganography with improved embedding rate

  Product perfect codes (PPCs) have larger embedding rate than hamming codes by embedding messages into each row and the first 2r2-1-1 columns in a hamming block,and them have been proven to enhance the performance of the F5 steganographic method.In this paper,the proposed modified product codes called MPC only considers single layer embedding method which is conforming to the ±1 steganography.It has been introduced as an efficient way to embed more data than PPCs only by increasing 2r2-1-r2embedding columns for improving the embedding rate which is almost 1.33 times as much as PPC.On the other hand,a proposed technique with reducing the number of flipping is applied to improve MPCs embedding efficiency,and the performance of it outperforms the PPCs.Finally,the performance of the proposed methods is evaluated and compared with the other improved algorithms.
