A Novel and Efficient Compressive Multiplexer for Multi-Channel Compressive Sensing Based on Modulated Wideband Converter
A novel and efficient Sub-Nyquist architecture for multi-channel compressive sensing based on compressive multiplexer (CMUX) and modulated wideband converter (MWC) is proposed with the name of CM-MWC.Each channel in this multi-channel receiver system is mixed down to baseband, and then randomly modulated by a periodical pseudo-random sequence. The randomly modulated channels are summed together and then the outcome is fed into a filterbank consist of M uniform subfilters in order to obtain compressed samples.Compared with CMUX,periodical pseudo-random sequences are used to modulate the input signal so that the proposed architecture can reconstruct multi-band signals.Compared with MWC,this architecture can be applied to multi-channel system.Meanwhile, the requirements of specification for mixing pseudorandom sequences generator and analog to digital converter (ADC) devices can be further reduced.Simulation experiments verify the theoretical results and show the proposed algorithm is feasible.
