OFDM Systems Based on Analysis of Virtual Sub-carrier Frequency Offset Estimation
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) has been extensively used in wireless communication systems.And it has been the core technology of the fourth generation mobile communications.However,OFDM has its own shortcomings.It is very sensitive to Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO).The performance of the system will deteriorate severely when the OFDM system loses carrier synchronization.Therefore,it is one of the most important problems for OFDM to compensate its carrier frequency offset,and researchers have worked hard on this problem recently.The main purpose of this thesis is to study the accurate ways and high performance algorithms of estimating the CFOs in OFDM systems.
