Target indication method using computer generated hologram
Traditional target indication methods often require a complicated mechanized servo tracking system, and the process of manual tracking and pointing affects the precision of the target indication.According to the optical phased array theory, this paper presents a new method of target indication using computer generated hologram. To achieve the purpose of non-mechanized deflection of laser beam and indicating the object,mean-shift algorithm is used to track the object and acquire the real-time position of the object in the image acquisition field. The computer generated holograms of the target indication images are generated by conjugate symmetric extension computer generated algorithm, and they are loaded to the spatial light modulator which is irradiated by the laser beam. Then the target indication images are optically reconstructed and cover the object. In this paper, the principle of the method is analyzed in detail, and the experimental system is designed and built. The experimental result shows that the method can accurately track and indicate the moving object.
