Adaptive Model Predictive Control Strategy of Hybrid Electric Bus Based on SOC Programming
In the paper,Adaptive Model Predictive Control Strategy (AMPC) for HEB is designed based on battery state of charge (SOC) programming.The reference SOC is calculated based on dynamic programming algorithm (DP).According to the reference SOC (SOCref),control thresholds are adjusted to make the real SOC following the SOCref by parameter adaptive algorithm.The dynamic model of HEB is established by Simulink and AVL Cruise.Simulation results are shown that the energy consumption generated by the proposed strategy is significantly lower than that of the Rule-Based (RB) strategy and the economic performance of HEB can be improved.
