Nonlinear adaptation for performance model of an aero engine using QPSO
For a generic engine performance model can not take the differences of individual engine performance into consideration, adaptation of individual engine performance model is studied. On the basis of a generic performance simulation model, the necessity of adaptation of individual engine performance is analyzed with contrasting the difference between model calculated values and measured ones. The individual adaptation of performance model is studied by using the engine test data and quantum particle swarm optimization (QPSO) algorithm, and then compared with classical influence coefficient matrix (ICM) adaptation method. The results show that the nonlinear correction method based on QPSO has better accuracy and stability for the consideration of nonlinear component characteristics, and also has a good application prospect in the area of individual engine performance analysis and adaptive control.
