A Load Balancing Multi-relay Selection Scheme of Debris Flow Monitoring
To forecast the outbreak of debris flows can extend reduce the image of it.For doing this, there has occurred many methods, and adopting wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with long lifetime is the most reasonable and feasible one.Even so,many problems also should be concerned on it.As we all know, the sensor nodes of WSNs are operating on limited battery energy. And it is impractical to recharge or replace the batteries after using them up,so a high energy-efficient protocol is necessary and urgent.Accordingly we propose a novel Load Balancing Multi-relay Selection Scheme (LBMSS) for a distributed WSN in this paper. The main purpose of the scheme aims to prolong the network lifetime as long as possible, meanwhile keeping higher communication quality and lower energy consumption. Finally we simulated our protocol with Matlab, and the results show that the LBMSS achieved our experimental idea as we expected.
