An Empirical Study on the Drivers Promoting Renewable Energy Development: The Case of Heilongjiang Province of China
Heilongjiangs renewable energy development plan 2010-2020 has been proposed for a few years, but renewable energy development in Heilongjiang province is still slow.Nowadays it is becoming necessary to conduct a valuable research to obtain a detailed understanding of the drivers of Heilongjiang renewable energy development which will promote the renewable energy development.The paper establishes a systematicly hypothesized model formed of three stakeholders (Enterprises,Market and Government) to analyze the various drivers promoting the development of renewable energy in Heilongjiang Province, the driving factors of which come from the literature extraction and the analyzing data of which comes from a survey.This SEM model is used to analyze the specific quantitative relationships between the various driving factors promoting the development of renewable energy in Heilongjiang Province.By empirical results, we find that in Heilongjiang province the scale effect and the technological invention has relatively larger impact than capital, market supply and market demand to promote the renewable energy development in Heilongjiang province.And in policies aspect, the industrial policies has the most prominent effect on the renewable energy market demand and the fiscal and financial policies has the most prominent effect on the renewable energy market supply.
