Analysis of Government Administrative Cost Control and Suggestions

　　Most countries have realized the necessity and mission of effectively controlling government administrative costs and have launched reforms to reduce costs caused by resources waste in government administrative activities and improve work efficiency since the 1980s.However, long after the reforming and opening up in China, government administrative costs have experienced a period of extraordinary growth.Particularly in recent years, the expansion of government administrative costs and their growth rate have been prominent, leading to a series of negative impacts,such as resources waste, administrative staffs dereliction of duty, and corruption.All of these problems should attract nationwide attention, because low government administrative efficiency is likely to stir dissatisfaction from citizens and further result in lower trust in government.Thus,government administrative cost control has become a national and social concern.This paper will first analyze the necessity of administrative cost control, then discuss the current cost control and problems in the administrative management activities of Chinese government, and finally explore the reasons and propose suggestions to solve the problems.
