Research on Social Risk Prevention and Control of Major Projects Based on Dissipative Structure Theory
Social conflicts centering on major projects occur frequently, which has become a prominent problem affecting economic development and social stability. As an open system far from equilibrium state, the social risk system of major projects accords with characteristics of the dissipative structure.According to the dissipative structure theory, social conflict events refer to a process of entropy increase in nature, while increasing negentropy factors is the approach to solve those conflicts so as to form a good dissipative structure of the social risk system. It contributes to confirm the evolution mechanism and development trend of social conflict events by interpreting social conflict events in major projects using the dissipative structure theory. In addition, through tracking the change of entropy values in the social risk system, the governments decision points of risk prevention and control in different stages can be worked out, which provides path support for social risks in major projects to be effectively prevented and resolved.
