An Analysis of the Ecological Ethics Responsibility of Chinese Enterprises in the Context of Globalization

  With the transition from an agrarian society to industrial society, the degradation of ecological environment has a growing influence on all aspects of life and development in human society.According to China Ecological Footprint Report 2012 published by World Wide Fund for Nature, Chinas per capita Ecological Footprint is 2.5 times its per capita biocapacity, which means that China is in a state of the most severe biocapacity deficit ever.Recent years, the hazy weather occured in Beijing and the whole country is a warning of ecological crisis.Chinas government has already realized the significance of the ecological ethics responsibility, proposing ideas of ecological civilization, scientific development, beautiful China and Green development.China has carried out a series of policies, laws, regulations and measures, encouraging enterprises to take responsibility of ecological ethics.So far, Chinese enterprises have already accumulated abundant experience in it.However, they are facing serious challenges from international ecology crisis expansion, resource-environmental pressure, international market rules and so on.They need to modify by setting up scientific view of ecological ethics, establishing an approval system that meets the international criterion, strengthening legal system, and perfecting supervision and self-discipline mechanism.
