Approaches to Administrative Cost Control and Building Conservation Government in China

Administrative cost refers to the economic resource consumption or expenditure spent on government administrative activities.Obviously, part of the economic resources that the government spends on administrative activities is necessary and indispensable. However, for various reasons, the contemporary governments are more likely to cause a substantial increase in administrative cost in administrative activities. As a result, consumption of economic resources greatly exceeds the range of necessity, leading to the waste of public resources.Needless to say, the phenomenon is contrary to the target of building a conservation government. Thus, it is valuable and meaningful to find effective ways of controlling modem governments cost by studying administrative cost control. In this approach, necessary measures can be taken to realize the goals of administrative cost control and building a conservation government.
