A Study on Gender Stereotype of Female Career Development in Public Sector
As a special group, females play indispensable roles in social stability and economic development.Nowadays, more and more females have taken part in work with the rising of womens status.At the same time, more and more people turn their attention to female career development due to the increasing female proportion in public sector.Nevertheless, female career development is confronted with much difficulty.This thesis tries to analyze the reasons which results in difficulty during female career development in public sector from the perspective of gender stereotype and occupational stereotype, and then preliminarily studies corresponding countermeasures.Stereotype is an important part in Social Cognition and a ubiquitous social phenomenon which including occupational stereotype, ethnic stereotype and gender stereotyipe.
