Preparation and Electrochemical Properties of Graphene-based Materials as Anodes for High Performance Lithium-ion Batteries by the Electrostatic Flocking Method
Nowadays, Lithium-ion battery has been widely used in portable electronic devices, and it has great potential applications in electric bicycles and electric vehicles. The electrochemical properties of the graphene anode material in different preparation methods need to be investigated to obtain high capacity. In this study, the graphene oxide filaments was first prepared using the wet spinning method, then they were dried in the oven under 80℃.These filaments were subsequently adhered to the copper foil by the electrostatic flocking method as the lithium-ion battery anode materials. The morphology test results showed that the filaments were standing vertically on the copper foil after the flocking. Moreover, the specific discharge and charge capacities of RGO (reduced graphene oxide) at the first cycle were as high as 905.1 mA · h/g and 315.2 mA · h/g under the test condition of voltage range of 0.01 V to 2.0 V and current density of 50 mA/g in the battery test system.
