The Tensile Properties of Epoxy Resin Composites with Multiwall Carbon Nanotube/f-GN Hybrid Materials
To enhance strength and toughness of epoxy matrix for fiber reinforced composites,multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT)/f-GN hybrid materials are prepared successfully by the processes of sonication, centrifugation and drying.The three-dimensional structure hybrid materials have good dispersion in the epoxy resin system.The epoxy resin composites with 1 :1 hybrid materials possess the strongest interface bonding force between epoxy resin and hybrid materials.The mechanical properties of epoxy resin are improved by adding hybrid materials.With 0.3 wt% loading of hybrid materials, the strengthening and toughening effect on epoxy resin of 2 : 1 hybrid materials is achieved.
